Privacy Policy

SchoolMasy ("we", "us") provides school management software to schools, trusts, and resellers. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you use schoolmasy.com, the admin portal, guardian apps, and related integrations (including WhatsApp Business messaging where a school has connected it).

Data we process

Depending on how a school uses the product, we may process account credentials, names, contact details (email, phone), student and staff records, attendance, fees, exam results, transport and hostel details, and message delivery metadata for notifications (for example WhatsApp template sends). Schools remain the primary controller of student and staff data they enter.

How we use data

To operate the service, authenticate users, send transactional notifications a school has enabled, provide support, secure the platform, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.

Sharing

We may share data with infrastructure providers (hosting, email, payment, Meta WhatsApp Cloud API when a school connects WhatsApp) strictly to deliver the service. Schools may also grant access to their own staff and guardians under their policies.

Retention & security

Data is retained while the school subscription is active and for a reasonable period afterward for backup and legal requirements, unless a school or user requests deletion earlier where applicable. We use access controls, encryption in transit, and operational safeguards appropriate to a school SaaS product.

Your choices
